It's currently in open beta and is free to use, and is also one of the few that you can install on your own server.BrittonRThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17645802299637793614noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30278691.post-15219410925967184372011-02-18T11:03:11.176+02:002011-02-18T11:03:11.176+02:00I am looking for a browser based ide too. Seeems that Eclpise e4 has a web interface plugin, but I was not able to get that run.

Let me know when you had luck!

Cheers
ChristianAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30278691.post-38647665394164127182011-01-07T00:24:48.920+02:002011-01-07T00:24:48.920+02:00I've tested both but they are not usable.

You need project-aware completion and error highlighting, a debugger, a profiler.

Kodingen has the extra disadvantage that it seems proprietary -- I like having an opensource IDE.

None of the would be useful for somebody doing for example even old style servlets that need to be deployed on some application server.Emilian Boldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10960978131273810766noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30278691.post-55973888799479597732011-01-06T22:21:23.165+02:002011-01-06T22:21:23.165+02:00Have you seen: The Top 3 Browser-Based IDEs?Have you seen: The Top 3 Browser-Based IDEs?Eurekinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12899228602227596377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30278691.post-68203040884323173642011-01-06T19:50:45.064+02:002011-01-06T19:50:45.064+02:00For web developers there are several browser IDEs ...For web developers there are several browser IDEs already existing:

http://kodingen.com/
https://bespin.mozillalabs.com/Andreihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03879181995149058277noreply@blogger.com
